Meet Jaimie - founder of Guanaco!

I’m so happy you’ve landed in my little corner of the internet! Home is California, but as an expat that’s called England home for over 11 years, I feel more British! I've always had a serious case of wanderlust, and as a travel advisor, I bring a sense of curiosity, connection, and a belief that travel should feel personal, purposeful, and transformative. My background spans luxury, adventure, wellness, and accessible travel, with a particular passion for off-the-beaten-path destinations and experiences that immerse you in local culture and nature. Guanaco Adventures started as an adventure company taking adventure seekers to Patagonia to see the beauty of this stunning landscape. Now, powered by Fora, I curate thoughtful itineraries for couples, families, and multi-generational travelers who want more than a standard trip: they want a story worth telling.

Having lived abroad for years and traveled extensively across Europe, South America, North America, and beyond, I bring both global perspective and practical insight to every itinerary. I’m especially drawn to active and outdoor travel, whether that’s trekking in Patagonia, kayaking the Napali Coast, exploring local food spots, or designing trips that balance adventure with comfort and luxury touches. Accessibility and inclusivity are also core to how I work; I take pride in ensuring that trips are seamless, supportive, and tailored to each traveler’s unique needs, without compromising on style or experience.

At the heart of my approach is collaboration. I listen closely, ask questions to learn about what you find inspiring, and design travel that reflects who you are and how you want to feel when you’re away, whether that’s energized, restored, inspired, or all three.

And because travel is meant to be joyful, a few things you should know about me:

  • I’ve got two kiddos that love an adventure!

  • I’m unapologetically obsessed with Michael Bublé and raggaeton. Very different vibes, very passionate about both!

  • I could paddle board all day in the summer. Living in Devon, I’m spoilt for choice!

  • Pineapple on pizza (don’t let this be the reason not to work with me!)

  • If you need the way to my heart, a gooey brownie (with walnuts) will seal the deal!

If you value meaningful experiences, thoughtful planning, and a travel advisor who cares just as much about the details as the bigger picture, you’re in the right place.
